One of the nice things about shooting on film, is the incidental shots you don't see before after you get the prints/contacts back, or accidents from a dodgy developer, or that the lab cuts your neg in the wrong place. Of course the above can be annoying but sometimes it can result in an interesting picture or a beautiful effect. This rarely happens with digital photography where the technique is getting increasingly (and boring) perfected. Or so I thought... Due to a power surge the other day I lost my images on a memory card. I used a dodgy recovery software and hokus pokus; this is how one of the photos came out.
